Mountain Frames
$2,700.00
When Team Jumbo-Visma decided it was time to race XCO, they came to us for the answer. The ZHT-5 marks a new era for Cervelo and the team, as we go racing together. Our engineering expertise has already been proven in cyclocross (R5-CX) and gravel racing (Aspero), and now we've upped the ante and designed a mountain bike worthy of the Cervelo name.
ZHT-5 is a Cervelo through and through: fast, efficient, and fun to ride. The 69-degree head tube angle, modern reach, and short chainstays combine to make a bike that's stable at speed and nimble enough for pack racing. There's room to maneuver in the cockpit, whether you're darting inside on an uphill hairpin, or hanging off the back to make time on the descent.
SPEED FIRST
- Our mantra is to make riders faster. And doing that means creating bikes that turn power into forward motion as efficiently as possible. Nothing does this more effectively in dirt than a hardtail. But power is nothing without control, so we focused on making a rapid cross-country race bike that still handles confidently in technical sections, feeding the desire to ride faster.
STIFF, LIGHT & READY TO FIGHT
- Weighing in at just 907g (size Medium), ZHT-5 is a featherweight fighter with the punchy turn of pace that only a hardtail can deliver. Decades of making frames built for the strongest sprinters in the world has fed into a super stiff mountain bike design that propels you to the front without compromising weight or ride quality.
MODERN GEO FOR THE MODERN XC RIDER
- If you've not ridden a hardtail for a while, you'll be surprised at how the ZHT-5's 69-degree head tube angle, 457mm reach (size L), and 430mm chainstays feel progressive and refreshingly modern. If you've ridden them all your life, you'll be baffled at how we've managed to eke out yet more performance from such a clean and simple design. The ZHT-5's geometry puts you in the driving seat to carve up all the tight hairpins and features that litter the ups and downs of today's XC trails.
NOT OUR FIRST RODEO
- We know from winning cyclo-cross World Champs that when the going gets gritty, threaded bottom brackets are the best way to go. ZHT-5 adopts the BSA threaded standard to meet the strength, stiffness, durability and serviceability needs of racers and race mechanics alike. It also makes it the ideal winter training companion.

Progressive but racy, ZFS-5 was built for today's evolving XCO courses - it has to pedal well and handle quickly, but also take on the chunks, jumps, and drops littering the circuit. ZFS-5's 67.8-degree head tube angle delivers the precision required for elbow-to-elbow hole shot sprints, and the confidence to let off the brakes when the track gets rough. And in 120mm-outfitting, the 66.6-degree head angle will give you the extra confidence to push harder and ride faster, even when the trail gets a bit...hellish.
- Flat Bars, Suspension, Cervelo?
World Cup season is here, and we’re all in. The Z bikes—the ZHT-5 and the ZFS-5, our hardtail, and full-suspension, respectively—made their race debut at the Nove Mesto World Cup. The pilots? World Cup veteran and former Dutch National XCO Champion Milan Vader alongside reigning Cyclocross World Champion Fem van Empel.
- Call It A Comeback
Milan Vader is a veteran XC racer and former Dutch National Champion. He was set to race the Z bikes in 2022, but a life-changing crash at Itzulia Basque Country meant his priorities were re-learning to walk and ride. He’s recovered phenomenally well and much faster than the doctors expected and will be racing the entire World Cup circuit this year.
- Double Dutch
Fem van Empel is one of Team Jumbo-Visma’s most recent signings, and she’s already made the rainbow connection. Following a decisive World Cyclocross Championships win in Hoogerheide, she traded knobbies for slicks this Spring and has now set her sights on improving her best-ever World Cup results and landing on the podium.

Techs & Features:
Advanced Composite Technology
Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
Advanced Forged Composite Technology
A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar components made from aluminum. This technology is used in critical performance parts such as Maestro Suspension rocker links.
FlexPoint Pro Suspension Technology
Developed as a superlight rear suspension setup for XC bikes that demand efficiency, control and responsive handling, FlexPoint Pro is a linkage-driven, single-pivot system that delivers 100mm of rear-wheel travel. It’s engineered with a full-composite swingarm that significantly reduces overall frame weight.

From early pioneers like Rob Warner in the 1990s to world champions including Myles Rockwell (2000) and Danny Hart (2011), many of downhill racing's greatest legends have flown the flag for Giant over the years. This special-edition frameset celebrates that heritage with vintage Giant colors and design. Beneath the stunning paint lies cutting-edge DH design and technology including full-composite construction, an all-new Maestro suspension system, and ultra adjustability to tackle different types of DH terrain.
KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS
RACE-READY SUSPENSION
A new Maestro rear suspension system, developed over several seasons of World Cup racing with Giant engineers and pro athletes, features 200mm of smooth, active travel for race-winning speed. The rear suspension is paired with a 203mm travel fork, providing superior confidence and control on the most extreme DH racetracks and trails.
ULTRA ADJUSTABLE
Three flip chips provide unprecedented adjustability. First, a three-position Maestro flip chip lets you dial in frame geometry for your riding style and terrain. Next, a new headset flip chip adjusts reach so you can easily achieve perfect positioning. And finally, a rear dropout flip chip lets you adjust the overall wheelbase and handling characteristics.
REAR WHEEL OPTIONS
Choose either a 29-inch or 27.5-inch rear wheel. Frameset can be built with a mixed wheel "mullet" setup that many racers prefer with the smaller rear wheel creating a snappy, agile feel and increased saddle-to-tire clearance in the rear. For those who favor the rollover speed and stability of two 29-inch wheels, you can easily swap out the rear wheel.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Thoroughly reengineered from the ground up, the new Glory Advanced features a lightweight, super strong composite frame, 200mm of Maestro rear suspension (with a 203mm fork up front), and multiple flip chips to dial in geometry, rear wheel size, fit and positioning. The stock setup is a mixed-wheel configuration with a 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear, striking a perfect balance of roll-over speed and maneuverability. Riders also have the option to switch to a 29-inch rear wheel using a simple two-position flip chip on the rear dropout. The legend is back.
ADVANCED COMPOSITE
Mainframe and rear swingarm crafted with high-performance grade raw carbon fiber and custom resin that's custom made in Giant's own composite factory. Handcrafted monocoque construction makes it extremely lightweight, stiff and compliant.
MAESTRO SUSPENSION
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE
A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce the hybrid aluminum/carbon fiber upper rocker link that's lighter, stiffer and stronger than pure aluminum.
ADJUSTABLE DH GEOMETRY
Frame geometry can be adjusted between three settings to match riding style and terrain. You can select a 61.6, 62 or 62.3-degree head angle and corresponding 78.4, 78.8, or 79.1-degree seat tube angle, resulting in a 13, 8 or 3mm bottom bracket drop (size M/L).
ADJUSTABLE WHEELBASE
A flip chip on the rear dropout can be set to a Long or Short position to adjust the wheelbase and rear-center measurement. The Short position results in quicker, more agile handling for tight, technical terrain. The Long position extends the wheelbase for added stability on faster trails with longer straightaways and high-speed cornering.
REACH ADJUST
A three-position flip chip at the headset lets riders quickly dial in cockpit dimensions and geometry. This modular system has two positioning chips that can be removed and swapped to achieve a Short (-5mm), Mid (0mm) or Long (+5mm) reach and fine-tune the bike's handling and rider positioning.
REAR WHEEL OPTIONS
Riders can choose either a 29- or 27.5-inch rear wheel, paired with a 29-inch front wheel. The larger 29-inch option improves stability and roll-over capabilities, while the 27.5 option delivers a more agile, snappier feel. It's a quick and easy change to adjust the bike's handling and feel.
MEGADRIVE
A massive rectangular down tube and oversized top tube provide superior lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped down tube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.

If there’s one thing Tom knows, it’s dirt. When he first designed the Ultra he knew it would appeal to riders who demand specific ride characteristics and dirt slaying only he could deliver- and that was in the 1980s! Good design withstands the test of time, and the latest iteration of the Ultra is a prime example. Like its predecessor from 30 years prior, the new Ultra occupies a unique ride space from cross-country riders looking to get rowdy and go big to enduro riders lusting for some all-mountain shredding.
Designed around a 120mm travel fork and super stable Boost 148 spacing, most of the fun is in the wheels. Designed to accommodate 29" or 27.5" wheels, the Ultra is highly versatile. Throw on some 29s for some trail-smashing XC riding, or saddle up some 27.5+ for some serious no-holds-barred shredding. The Ultra is a rough and rugged trail master that doesn’t know when to quit.
- Compatible with 27.5 x 2.8 and 29 x 2.4 tires
- Internal routing for a dropper post

Lowside is the bike that gets you across town for a quick rip on singletrack, then over to the bar for a night out.
Your BMX Bike All Grown Up
Lowside is like the grownup version of the bike you rode when you were a kid and still had hopes and dreams and some semblance of ambition. It's just as happy riding singletrack as it is parked outside your favorite drinking establishment.
Lowside is a single speed mountain bike. Singlespeeding has been a part of Surly's DNA since day one when we launched the 1x1 Rat Ride. After a lot of Homie Fall Fests and more feats of strength than we can recall, we decided to discontinue it a couple years back. Lowside picks up right where the 1x1 left off.
"Some have dubbed the Lowside the ultimate pub cruiser."

To make the best fitting bike for smaller riders, we designed an entirely different frame for the small and extra small sizes. Focused on minimizing stand-over height, maximizing seat postinsertion, and preserving space for a water bottle, we moved the forward shock mount to the downtube, designed an even more compact shock linkage, and made a completely different swing arm, all unique to these two sizes. With the ability to fit riders down to at least 4’11”, the small and extra small SB135s are truly their own engineering feats within the SB135 project.
- Cable Management.
Internally routed cable tubes with secure closures at entry and exit points eliminate rattles and cable rub. Whether running a mechanical drivetrain and dropper or a wireless setup, cable management is intuitively easy.
- Threaded BB.
Threaded aluminum bottom bracket shell with integrated ISCG-05 tabs. This critical drivetrain interface is now more durable, cleaner, and easier to service. You asked, and we delivered
- Hangerless Interface
The Hangerless Interface creates the strongest and most precise shifting with Eagle Transmission. It’s also backward compatible – simply thread in a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) and run your drivetrain of choice.
- Full Drop. Full Flight.
As the capability of our bikes continues to increase, so does their ability to run modern-day, full-stroke dropper posts. Our seat tube is shorter to allow for longer dropper posts. Most riders will be able to use 150mm dropper posts on X-Small and Small frames*, 175mm on Medium frames*, and 200 mm+ dropper posts on L-XL frames* for airs like this.
*Dependent on actual seat height on specific bike size.
- Patented Compact Wishbone
The wishbone shock extender makes low-slung top tubes even lower, allows us to tune the leverage ratio while maintaining kinematics, and makes shock removal a cinch. It’s driven by an all-new link that nests inside the mainframe, for a stiffer pivot – and a cleaner look.
- Speed Metal
Gone are the days of pivot bearing on carbon contact. Our new pivot design secures 100% standard-sized cartridge bearings in the frame linkages, attached with precision-machined Floating Collet Axles – boosting longevity and reducing tolerance gaps to virtually zero.
If you’re the type of rider who forgets the last time you changed your bearings, chances are they’re still running smooth.

- Leverage Rate
Making turns go boom isn’t fun with your heels dragging in the dirt. But the inconvenient truth is, progressive curves don’t always help maintain composure. A straighter, more linear progression curve means it's easier to tune shocks to pair with suspension kinematics. So we chose a leverage ratio that provides small bump sensitivity and the right amount of progression to maintain mid-stroke support and bottom-out control, without making it impossible to reach full travel.
- Unparalleled Feel. For All Riders.
Over the course of hundreds of virtual simulation comparisons and back-to-back carbon prototype testing, we’ve refined our carbon layups to deliver consistent torsional stiffness and flex profiles across all frame sizes. The feel is precise yet compliant while structurally balancing light weight and durability.
