Surprisingly light and hand built in Eugene, Oregon, the Aspin tips the
scales in favor of lightweight and budget. Named for the famed climb in
the French Pyrenees, the Aspin was designed as a climbing wheel with a
low spoke count and low rim profile.
Using the technology of
the Elan, the Aspin combines a stiffer spoke set, bomb-proof hubs and
beefier rims for overall added toughness. They are durable enough for
everyday training and commuting, yet still light enough for race day.
