Constructed from the same materials as the Z Series bikes, the ZW lay-up
is customized to improve performance for women. The top-of-the-line ZW
model uses Felt’s unparalleled UHC Ultimate+Nano carbon fiber, and in
all ZW bikes the materials are carefully optimized for women’s needs.
For example, they all feature smaller diameter tubes, thinner tube walls
and shorter tube intersections.
The woman-specific lightweight, super-efficient UHC Advanced carbon
fiber frame of the ZW3 was designed with input from Felt's elite female
road racers and triathletes. This isn’t just a repurposed men’s bike—the
ZW3, built with Felt’s FITWoman geometry, and is custom engineered to
meet the specific needs of women athletes. Smaller-diameter carbon fiber
tubes, a shorter cockpit to accommodate female proportions, and
race-ready parts including SRAM Red components plus Zipp Service Course
stem and seatpost—it’s all part of the ZW3 package.
